Birds of Sri Lanka - Crested Hawk Eagle

We watched this Crested Hawk Eagle catch a large lizard at Udawalawe National Park and fly to a tree beside the track. We edged the jeep slowly along side it to within 15 feet and watched it at close quarters for 15 minutes. What a stunner.
